Americans with Disabilities Act

Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires places of public accommodations (businesses that fall into one of 12 categories, such as restaurants, movie theaters, schools, day care facilities, recreation facilities, and doctors' offices, etc.) to provide communications access, such as a qualified interpreter, for deaf and hard of hearing people using their facilities and services.
